TCI Travel Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in all trips, tours, and travel services organized by TCI (The Creatives Island), whether private or group-based. By booking a trip with TCI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

1. Booking & Payment

• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit (amount specified per trip) and a completed registration form.
• Full payment must be made at least 14 days before departure for both group and private trips.
• Late payments may result in the automatic cancellation of the booking.

2. Pricing & Inclusions

• Trip prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or government-imposed fees.
• Unless otherwise stated, prices include: visa fees, accommodation, listed meals, transportation, and activities specified in the itinerary.
• Prices exclude: travel insurance, personal expenses, optional tours, excess luggage charges, and gratuities.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Client Cancellations:

• More than 6 weeks before the stipulated trip date: you are entitled to a 75% refund or TCI credits for your next trip.
• More than 4 weeks before the stipulated trip date: you are entitled to a 50% refund or TCI credits for your next trip.
• More than 2 weeks before the stipulated trip date: you are entitled to a 25% refund or TCI credits for your next trip.
• More than 1 week before the stipulated trip date: you are entitled to a 10% refund or TCI credits for your next trip.

Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 14 working days.

4. Travel Documents & Responsibilities

• Clients are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents (passport, vaccination certificates, etc.).
• TCI assists with visa processing and vaccination certificates, but visa approval is at the sole discretion of the consulate/embassy.
• Failure to obtain the required documents will not entitle clients to a refund.

5. Health, Safety & Insurance

• All clients are expected to be in reasonable health and fitness for travel. Any pre-existing conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
• Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings is highly recommended.
• TCI reserves the right to refuse participation if a client's health or behavior poses a risk to themselves or others.

6. Conduct & Responsibilities During Trip

• Clients must follow all instructions from trip leaders and adhere to local laws and cultural norms.
• TCI will not be liable for loss or damage to personal property, injury, or delays caused by third-party service providers, weather conditions, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Group trips require cooperation and punctuality. Late arrival at meeting points may result in being left behind without a refund.

7. Liability & Indemnity

• TCI acts as an intermediary with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other vendors. While we exercise care in selecting partners, we are not responsible for their acts, errors, or omissions.
• Clients agree to indemnify and hold TCI harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising during the trip.

8. Media & Publicity

• TCI may capture photos and videos during trips for promotional purposes. By joining, you grant consent to the use of such media unless expressly stated otherwise in writing before departure.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By paying for and/or participating in a TCI trip, you acknowledge acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
